Palm Beach / Miami Travel Guide
Palm Beach + Miami Travel Guide
The BuddyLove BabeCrew took to the beaches of Miami, Florida to shoot our Swim and Summer 2022 Collections. We enjoyed a week of photoshoots across the city, a day trip to Palm Beach, plenty of celebratory cocktails and tasty eats, and all of the hustle and bustle that comes with Miami.
This is our second destination photoshoot in Miami so, while familiar with the city, we always love trying new places and doing new things. We put together a Miami + Palm Beach Travel Guide with all of our top spots and favorite activities!
PALM BEACH
We spent a day in West Palm Beach shooting our Summer 2022 Collections, and it was one of our dreamiest destinations yet! Every corner turned was filled with rich, colorful greenery and florals. IG worthy photo-ops cover every inch of the town, and the architecture is simply stunning. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
THINGS TO DO
The Colony Hotel is absolutely iconic. Even if you're unable to stay or dine here, it's worth a visit just to see the property! Dating back to 1947, The Colony Hotel is known for it's fashionable interior, chic dining opportunities, and impeccable guest experiences.
We took a break from shooting and had lunch at the hotel's poolside restaurant, Swifty's, and it did not disappoint! After dining under the outdoor hanging garden, we explored the property and snapped photos of *literally* everything.
Fun Fact: We met and chatted with Kelsey Grammer from Frasier before leaving the hotel!
If you're looking for a little luxury, Worth Avenue offers internationally recognized upscale shopping and dining. Boasting Mediterranean-inspired architecture, Worth Avenue offers endless culture, luxury shopping, art galleries and fine dining.
The beaches in Palm Beach are absolutely beautiful! Crystal blue water and powdery white sand - what more could you ask for?! We strolled Municipal Beach inbetween shots, but DelRay Beach, Boca Raton, Juno, and Riviera are other top tier beaches to visit!

MIAMI
Most of our week was spent in the heart of South Beach Miami! We can't get enough of the lively Miami vibes, endless places to wine and dine, and of course the beautiful beaches. There are so many things to do and places to see in Miami, but we've narrowed it down and are listing out our favorites!
WHERE TO DINE
Smith and Wollensky’s is at the top of our list for fine dining in Miami. Offering indoor or outdoor oceanfront seating, Smith and Wollensky's is globally known for their dry aged, hand butchered steaks. Not to mention they serve a fantastic dirty martini and delectable desserts!
If you're wanting to indulge, Pane y Vino is the place for incredible Italian cuisine. This cozy, intimate dining experience offers handmade pasta dishes, Italian details throughout, and a wide variety of top tier wines.
We enjoyed several meals from the comfort of our hotel! The Kimpton Surfcomber has two on-site dining options from brunch to dinner.
Almost every morning we grabbed breakfast at The Social Club downstairs. Offering brunch to dinner with daily happy hour specials, The Social Club ended up being our top spot for a quick, tasty breakfast!
If you're spending the day poolside, Kimpton's High Tide Beach Bar & Grill serves an all-day menu of flavorful tacos, wraps and salads, beachy cocktails, and grab-and-go bites.
Pubbelly Sushi is a casual spot for some fresh sushi and wine! Offering a fusion of Japanese and Latin-inspired dishes, Pubbelly highlights an award winning menu. This was the perfect place to relax and refuel after a day of photoshoots!
WHERE TO STAY
We spent the week at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel, while Buddy and Grayson stayed a few doors down at the Nautilus by Arlo Hotel. Both hotels sit on the Miami Beach boardwalk, just steps away from the beach!
The Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel boasts a new makeover with sophisticated South Beach flair. Including a luxurious pool with spacious cabanas, large backyard area with games + the High Tide Beach Bar & Grill, and The Social Club restaurant and bar located in the lobby.
THINGS TO DO
Emocean Boats
Take a tour of Miami from your very own yacht! This was our favorite day of the entire trip! We rented a beautiful yacht from Emocean Boats and had the greatest time shooting some of our swim collection.
@buddylovesrachel has been manifesting a yacht photoshoot for five years, and we finally made it happen! Emocean Boats exceeded all of our expectations and were incredibly accommodating and FUN. We can't recommend them enough!
Drinks at Faena
We stopped for cocktails at world-renowned Faena, Miami's most luxurious hotel! The Faena Hotel boasts vibrant Art Deco design, luxe amenities, world famous art experiences, and several fine dining options.
South Beach Lifeguard Towers
Take a stroll down South Beach Miami to see the infamous Lifeguard Stands. These 36 colorful + bold lifeguard towers line the coast all the way from Miami Beach to South Beach, and are a must-see while here!
